1 rating

Combine art, humor, and educational facts with these fun Cheesy Valentines for kids.

These printable cards feature custom watercolor artwork, cheese-related jokes, and even cheese facts!  Choose your favorites from the full set, share them with friends, split them between classrooms, hand them out a church, or save some for other holidays (like National Cheese Day)…this set is so versatile and fun!

All sets feature:

  • Unique watercolor illustrations featuring diverse cheeses from all over the world (as well as vegan cheeses, cheese characters with glasses, and more so there is something for everyone!)

  • Fun puns/sayings

  • Generally gender-neutral designs, with some being more feminine and some more masculine

  • "To" and "from" blanks

  • Cheese facts on the back (often having to do with the front design)

  • Cards fold in half (items can be placed inside or they can be left empty)

Full Set Includes:

  • 1 PDF: 18 pages (4 cards to a page) — compressed file; unzip to use

  • All 71 unique cards + 1 blank card (you get a bonus card with the set!)

  • Different, detailed cheese facts

  • Cheese pronunciations

Older Set Includes:

  • 1 PDF: 9 pages (4 cards to a page) — compressed file; unzip to use

  • 35 unique cards + 1 blank card

  • More advanced cheese facts on each card

  • Cheese pronunciations

Younger Set Includes:

  • 1 PDF: 9 pages (4 cards to a page) — compressed file; unzip to use

  • 35 unique cards + 1 blank card

  • Simplified cheese facts (suitable for younger ages) on each card

  • Cheese pronunciations

The cheese facts and Valentines are suitable for all ages. Some have more text, but they will make for great discussions, even with your elementary kids. These are fitting for cheese lovers, cheese makers, dairy farmers, teachers, and more.

The facts cover these topics: science, history, geography, culture, etymology, foreign languages, literature, health, culinary facts, material culture, proper pronunciations.

I recommend printing these on a slightly heavier paper (often called "premium" paper at printers...or bright white 70 lb paper works great). Do not print back-to-back. Card stock works well too, but will be harder to fill should you choose to include items inside (and you will also need to "score" the paper before folding so the fold is neat).

NOTE: For best results, print with basic color settings turned on, print "actual size," and choose the "print as image" option (you may need to look up your particular printer's settings to change this). I printed mine on a laser printer; I have also brought them to a local printer with these instructions in the past.

I've priced these Valentines very low so that those who may not be able to afford much can still enjoy them. You are always welcome to add any amount you wish as a gift at any time; this helps cover the rising fees that are charged and also helps support Arts & Crackers (profits go to coffee to keep me going, covering costs to keep my site going, and savings to fixing up the house we finally saved up to purchase...and maybe a pet cow once we get more land.).
